What are exosomes?

Small, vesicle-shaped structures consisting of a lipid bilayer, which form inside cells.

Their size ranges from 40-160 nm.

They include different biomolecules, such as DNA, RNA, proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids.

They are responsible for the transport of materials and communication between cells.

How are they formed and what are their functions?

Cells introduce biomolecules and other compounds into vesicles, which are then expelled to the outer cellular medium in the form of exosomes.

They act as:

1. Intercellular transmitters between neighboring cells.

2. Modulators of essential cellular processes, such as proliferation, differentiation, migration, and cell death.

Benefits of exosomes combined with lactoferrin:

- Stimulates endogenous exosome synthesis 4x.

- Promotes increased collagen synthesis.

- Activates exosome expression markers CD9 and CD81.

- Increases intracellular calcium levels, which are directly related to an increase in endogenous exosome production.

Protocol combined with microneedling:

1. Cleanse and degrease the area to be treated.

2. Apply 1-2 coats of MELASPEEL TRX. Wait for the solution to dry between coats. Wash and dry the treated area.

3. Prepare the EXOSES LW cocktail. Open the hinged lid and insert a needle into each vial. With the help of a syringe extract 1.25 ml from each vial (2,5 ml per treatment).

4. With the syringe without the needle, apply the solution directly on the skin by performing a gentle massage to promote complete absorption.

5. Perform microneedling. It is recommended to work at a depth of 0.25 mm and at maximum speed. Endpoint: even erythema throughout the treated area.

6. End the treatment by sealing it with a thin coat of RETISES CT Yellow Peel. Do not remove; leave to act 6-8 hours. After this time, the patient must wash the treated area.
