STEP 1 MIST:

• Tryptophan is an essential aminoacid of natural origin. Together with riboflavin (present in Step 2) it converts to peroxide, improving acne-prone skin in the short term. In addition, it has antimutagenic mechanisms such as the break-up of free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS).
• Zinc controls irritation and the immune system. With sebum-regulating action, it inhibits 5 α-reductase which limits the sebaceous secretion. Acts as a co-factor by enhancing all the enzymatic systems.
• Azelaic acid has calming, anti-microbial properties, against the Staphylococcus epidermis and P.acnes. It has a keratolytic effect as it inhibits the synthesis of filaggrin, thus improving acne-prone skin.
• Nicotinic acid slows down the excess of oil production in the skin, thus reducing the sebaceous gland activity. Together with zinc, it reinforces the skin repairing action.

STEP 2 MIST:

• Riboflavin or vitamin B12 is involved in enzymatic processes related to cellular respiration and is an essential energy maker in the body.
• Chlorophyllin is a molecule that acts as green pigment of all photosynthetic cells. It works as a photosensitizing agent of the adipocyte (lipidic peroxydation of the adipocyte membrane), that promotes the lipolytic action of phosphatidylcholin. Its action range is a purple light, generated through the combination of blue and red lights.
• Oxygen has a key role in photodynamic therapy, as this therapy is based on the use of a photo sensitizer that is triggered in the presence of molecules of oxygen and a light source, to give rise to the photo dynamic reaction.

STEP 3 3·RETISES CT:

• The 3-retinol system combines 3 types of retinoids with different speeds of action: retinaldehyde with immediate action, retinol with continuous action and slow release retinyl. This way, the therapeutic level of the active ingredient is constant and its conversion is gradual, according to the skin needs.
• Zinc helps the conversion of the different retinoids to retinoic acid and the hyaluronic acid of very low molecular weight boosts the formation of this compound in the epidermis and dermis.
